Dr. Dominik Hünniger
Dr. Dominik Hünniger ist Umwelthistoriker und Kurator am Deutschen Hafenmuseum in Hamburg. Er ist assoziierter Forscher am The Hunterian, University of Glasgow und Gründer des collection<>ecologies Kollektivs. Er beschäftigt sich in Ausstellung, Forschung und Lehre mit Mensch-Naturbeziehungen, Sozial- und Kulturgeschichte von Technik und Innovation sowie Geschichte und Zukunft von Sammlungen und Museen. Ehrenamtlich engagiert er sich bei ArbeiterKind.de und ist Absolvent der Akademie Museion21.
Dr. Dominik Hünniger is an environmental historian and curator at the German Port Museum in Hamburg. He is an associated researcher at The Hunterian, University of Glasgow and founder of the collection<>ecologies collective. In his exhibitions, research and teaching, he focuses on the relationship between humans and other animals, nature/culture, the social and cultural history of technology and innovation as well as the history and future of collections and museums. He volunteers for the ArbeiterKind.de, an organisation supporting first generation students and he is an alumnus of Museion21 – the museum academy.
