Dominik Busch
Dominik Busch ist Leiter der Abteilung Diskurs & Kommunikation am Zeppelin Museum Friedrichshafen. Zuvor war er Digitalkurator an der Staatlichen Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, wo er auch die AG Green Culture und den Bereich Informationssicherheit leitete. Seine Arbeitsschwerpunkte umfassen diskursive, politische und digitale Vermittlung, die Rolle von Museen in der Gesellschaft sowie Teilhabeprozesse und Praktiken des Kollektiven als neue Form institutioneller Struktur und Organisation.
Busch studierte Neuere Deutsche Literaturwissenschaften, Kunst und Kunstpädagogik in Wuppertal und Düsseldorf, sein Erstes Staatsexamen erhielt er 2012. Von 2012-2014 war er zur Promotion an der Universität zu Köln immatrikuliert und forschte zu kuratorischen Theorien der 1990er Jahre. Seit 2023 ist Dominik Busch Vorstandsmitglied von ICOM Deutschland.
Dominik Busch is head of the Discourse & Communication department at Zeppelin Museum Friedrichshafen. Previously, he worked as Digital Curator at Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, where he also headed the Green Culture working group and information- and cyber security. His work focuses on discursive, political, and digital mediation, the role of museums in society, and participatory processes and practices of the collective as a new form of institutional structure and organization.
Busch studied modern German literature, art, and art education in Wuppertal and Düsseldorf, receiving his first state examination in 2012. From 2012 to 2014, he was enrolled at the University of Cologne to pursue his doctorate, researching curatorial theories of the 1990s. Dominik Busch has been a member of the board of ICOM Germany since 2023.
