Josefina Trittel
Josefina Trittel (sie/ihr) studierte Psychologie und Angewandte Kulturwissenschaft und Kultursemiotik in Berlin, London und Potsdam. Erfahrungen an Kulturinstitutionen sammelte sie u. a. an der Oper Frankfurt und im Städel Museum. Seit 2020 ist sie in der Kulturstiftung der Länder in Projekten mit den Themenschwerpunkten kulturelle Bildung, Teilhabe und Diversität tätig. Im Förderprogramm PRISMA befasst sie sich als Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und Projektkoordinatorin mit diskriminierungs- und diversitätssensiblen Transformationsprozessen in Museen. Die Repräsentation vielfältiger Perspektiven und Lebensrealitäten in Kulturinstitutionen sowie Empathie und Ambiguitätstoleranz in der Auseinandersetzung hiermit sind für sie von zentraler Bedeutung.
Josefina Trittel (she/her) studied Psychology and Applied Cultural Studies and Cultural Semiotics in Berlin, London, and Potsdam. She gained experience at cultural institutions including the Frankfurt Opera and Städel Museum. Since 2020, she has been working at the Cultural Foundation of the Federal States of Germany in projects focusing on cultural education, participation, and diversity. In the PRISMA funding program, she serves as a Research Associate and Project Coordinator, dealing with discrimination- and diversity-sensitive transformation processes in museums. The representation of diverse perspectives and life realities in cultural institutions, as well as empathy and tolerance for ambiguity in engaging with these, are of central importance to her.

Wie lassen sich Museen gestalten, in denen sich möglichst alle Menschen willkommen, adressiert, repräsentiert und berücksichtigt fühlen? Wie können vielfältige Perspektiven und Lebensrealitäten im Museum zugänglich(er) werden? Wie kann Ausgrenzung und Diskriminierung effektiv entgegengewirkt werden? Mit PRISMA fördert die Kulturstiftung der Länder Museen als Orte des gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalts. PRISMA unterstützt und begleitet öffentlich getragene Museen aus ganz Deutschland auf ihrem Weg der diversitäts- und teilhabeorientierten Organisationsentwicklung. Als Akronym steht PRISMA für partizipativ, resilient, inklusiv, solidarisch, multiperspektivisch und agil – diese Werte prägen die Umsetzung von PRISMA als Programm sowie die Zusammenarbeit mit Museen.
How can museums be designed to make sure all people feel welcome, addressed, represented, and included? How can diverse perspectives and life experiences become more accessible within museums? What strategies can be employed to counteract exclusion and discrimination? With PRISMA, the Cultural Foundation of the Federal States of Germany supports museums as spaces that foster social cohesion. PRISMA assists and accompanies publicly funded museums across Germany on their path toward diversity- and participation-oriented organizational development. The acronym PRISMA stands for participatory, resilient, inclusive, solidary, multiperspective, and agile — values that guide both the implementation of the program and the collaboration with museums.
