Vanessa Hirsch
Dr. Vanessa Hirsch, Fachbereichsleitung Sammlungen und stellvertretende Direktorin, Altonaer Museum. Dr. Vanessa Hirsch ist Kunsthistorikerin und Kuratorin am Altonaer Museum. Ihre Ausstellungstätigkeit fokussiert Themen aus der norddeutschen Kunst- und Kulturgeschichte und der Altonaer Stadtgeschichte. Ein weiterer thematischer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Geschichte des Nationalsozialismus. Sie beschäftigt sich außerdem mit der Öffnung von Museen für neue Besuchergruppen und hat eine der ersten interaktiven Kinderabteilungen in den Hamburger Museen aufgebaut.
Dr. Vanessa Hirsch, Head of Collections and Deputy Director, Altonaer Museum. Dr. Vanessa Hirsch is an art historian and curator at the Altonaer Museum. Her exhibitions focus on topics from North German art and cultural history and the history of the city of Altona. Another thematic focus is the history of National Socialism. She is also involved in opening museums to new visitor groups and has established one of the first interactive children’s departments in Hamburg’s museums.
