We've got questions, you've got answers
8th – 9th December 2022
Museum of Communication - Frankfurt / Main (Germany)
Dear Colleagues, the 8th edition of YOCOCU conference is coming!
The scientific program will be developed from 8th to 9th December and promoted by the following special events:
Great opening by the ICCROM Director and the Chief Curator of the Museum of Communication.
Interactive labs:
Art-Tasting: a Champagne tasting of the legendary Karthäuserhof estate will be the backdrop for the debate between conservators and artists.
No more ligroin!: testing of innovative green formulations for the removal of low-polar substances from Cultural Heritage.
Barbie Conservation Lab: testing of several innovative and traditional coatings able to prevent future migration of the additives to the plastic’s surface.
Interesting lectures developed by
Dr. Boaz Paz (PAZ Laboratorien), Prof. Dr. Vinzenz Brinkmann (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt-Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung), and Luisa Irazu Lopez Campos (Royal Academy of Spain) who will give their answer to the open questions on Cultural Heritage challenges.
It will be all enriched by the suggestive visit in the storage of the Museum for Communication to see its the hidden treasures and by the magic atmosphere of the characteristic Frankfurt Christmas market.
The YOCOCU 2022 conference will be the background of a real professional and social exchange as the past YOCOCU Editions.
Participants will also have high visibility with free publications on Heritage and Analytica (MDPI).
